"Every day, think as you wake up: Today, I am fortunate to be alive. I have a precious human life. I am not going to waste it." — Dalai Lama
We live as if we have all the time in the world. We put off love, we put off joy, we put off the people who matter—because we assume we’ll always have more time. But the truth is, we don’t know if we have another 20, 10, 5 years or even tomorrow.
I recently did a course on death and impermanence, and it made me realize how much we take life for granted. We think we have decades to find love, to spend time with our parents, to live fully. But the only time that is truly ours is this moment.
So if there’s one thing I would say today, it’s this: Love as much as you can. Spread love, kindness, and warmth—because in the end, love is the answer to everything. And by love, I don’t mean attachment. I mean the kind of love that sets you free.
