Perhaps it is my age (almost 70) but these days I have come to experience the freedom of not trying. Meditation and study were things I did with grit and white knuckles and perhaps it was useful as a base for this simply being open and willing. This openness and willingness have actually lead to more study and more practice, but with a very different feel to them...a letting go and letting be kind of feeling. It is all there and I just step aside. Who knew? Not I. Emaho.
